The best way -and safest- is to project the solar image onto card. It is not difficult to make some kind of holder to hold a piece of white card about 12 inches from the eyepiece. Project the image of the sun onto the card and focus the scope to produce a sharp image. At the moment the sun is highly active and you should be able to see sunspots. Jupiter and saturn are well placed at the moment so have a look at them too. hope this helps. Eddie |
