I just found this site a week ago so this story is kind of old but about a year ago while doing some regular planetary observation I had noticed a sudden flash to my left. When I looked I noticed a large orange colored meteor. The most unusual thing was that it was accompanied with a noise, similar to a sonic boom. The next day it was in the daily news cast. I live in Nova Scotia,Canada and if anyone else saw this I would be intrested in what they thought of it, all opinions are welcome.

The second occured just a few minutes ago it looked like a meteor but was more like a ball than a meteor. It had no trail, thats the main thing. It was gone in just 2 seconds so it should have not been a satellite or ISS etc. If anything it looked like a firefly but considering its December and about -10 C. it seemes unlikley. I know what a meteor looks like and this was a little out of the ordinary.
