Here in the UK the magellan is ridiculously priced.After all it is not a 'Goto'.With careful polar alignment it is possible to place any object in the field of my 26mm eyepiece.The declination circle is a little on the small side so it may be wise to fit a larger homemade one.Get a good star atlas and gain experience.Spend the price of the magellan on a good eyepiece!
