we too saw this object in Texas. it was different from a typical meteor in that it was a brilliant white, lasting a relatively long period (10 sec.), and leaving a smoke/vapor trail crossing the milky way north of saggitarius. it was so bright that we saw our shadows and turned to see it. was it some large manmade object, meteor, or star of bethlehem? does anyone know who to contact to identify this object? |
