Thanks for your reply Kip. Unfortunately SCT`s are out of the budget right now. I have found that Parallax Instruments makes a wide range of rings. Mostly hinged, which seems a lot easier to deal with than the Meade el-cheapos. These are around $160 - 180 for the 10-inch Starfinder, depending where you get em. Parallax also has a range of rotating rings, but at around $400, the price is way out of range for this telescope.
