Don`t believe the negative critism about the LX10 it`s a great scope and is truly portable whereas the LX200 is not in my mind.Remember the tube assembly is identical to the LX200 so for visual use there is absolutly no differece at all.It can and is used for astrophotography and CCD imaging.
If it`s a portable top notch instument you are after you won`t go wrong!If you are planning to go ahead and buy the more expensive LX200 see how enthusiastic you are when you have carried it downstairs or loaded it into your car for the umteenth time!!
