The focusers on these scopes are useable, but can be easily upgraded to an exellent JMI Reverse Crayford for $79.95 at a later date, or a better rack & pinion focuser for even less.

A 6" dob will not be any more affected by light pollution than a refractor. That is a Myth. You`ll be glad you have the extra aperture if and when you can take the scope to dark skies.
