Don`t do it. Go for at LEAST an 80mm scope. Buy a short tube 80mm from Orion, or like others mentioned, a 4.5" reflector. The 60mm scopes are VERY limited in Mount stability and APERATURE.If you can`t spend over $100 don`t bother with a telescope & get yourself a decent pair of 7x50 or 10x50 Binoculars they will show you more than a 60mm Scope. I would really urge you to get a 6" dobsonian. Meade sells one for $290 You will be so much happier with a 6" scope than a 2.4" (60mm)
