Thinking about getting my FIRST telescope to see if I can really get into it. Service Merchandise has a "Meade® Jupiter Astronomical Telescope" model #AZM. Here is the description given for this model: "Meade® Jupiter Astronomical Telescope. Features refractor design, 50 millimeter coated lens, 625 millimeter focal length, 3 eyepieces and 35x erecting eyepiece. Includes tripod with adjustable legs."
Price - $59.72

Would this be sufficient to see whether or not I like "star gazing" and terrestrial viewing?
