Actually it`s almost passed. By the time that it is dark, Orion is dead south. It`s basically gone by midnight. If you want to observe Orion, better do it after sunset. Orion is a Autumn & Winter Constellation. We are beginning the spring run now. Right now the constellations are Leo, Virgo, Libra, Bootes, Ursa Major and so on. Lyra, Cygnus are fast approaching for the summer run. By the end of May and after daylight savings time, Orion will be gone totally. |
