The Eagle Aquila was the eagle that Jupiter had carry Ganymede to Olympus. It was listed in AD 140 by Ptolomy. The star Altair is in Aquila.

Cygnus the Swan. I have no story on that one except it was listed by Ptolomy on AD 140 also. This is a Milky Way constellation. It looks like a cross. Deneb is the bright star in Cygnus.
