The best tool to use is a laser collimater. I also have a 10" dob and I first bought the orion collimator. It`s cheaper than a laser, but it`s not nearly as accurate. Yesterday I bought a laser collimator for $115, but its worth every penny. It`s easy to use and it`ll probably last a very long time. It`s quick to align and gives you no margin for error. It just depends on your budget, but a laser collimator works great for me.
