There a couple of ways to do this that are simple. You could purchase a collimator tool from Orion that works pretty good. I can also do the dot method. I draw a dot in the middle of the mirror and use a 35mm film cannister and drill a small hole. Place it in the eyepiece and look through the hole and line up the dot. This way can also lets you know if your secondary is off as well. Go to my site Stars R Us telescope section and look at my Dobs. There you will see a pic of the dotted mirror.
