: I have a Meade 8" LX10 and plan to start taking pictures with my Nikon N70. Initially, I intend to stay within the solar system, just : photographing moons and planets. : Two questions: : (1)I have the equipment to take prime-focus or eyepiece-projection photos. Is one more preferable for non-deepsky pictures ? : (2)I expect a lot of trial and error regarding aperture/shutter speed. Is there a rule on aperture (eg - use larger rather than smaller or : vice-versa), or is it merely a matter of taste ? : (3)In space, two questions means three. Fast film speed or slow ? I expect to enlarge photos that turn out good. : Thanks : Dave
