: : : there are references to the constalation Orion and the Great Pyramids of Egypt. If you take a star chart and move it back in time to line the pyramids and the sphinx up with the Constalation you will get a date of 10500 B.C, you can also do this with other sites in the pyramids belt, i.e angkor wat(Cambodia) the Mayan site of teotihuacan, this has been done and all the site coresponde to the date of 10500. This takes the dates of these site back almost 5000 years . look for it and you will find it. This was on a documantary on the discovery channel..Also geological dating of the base of the sphinx will give the same date..
