How We Can Measure Long Distances?
Forum List | Follow Ups | Post Message | Back to Thread Topics Posted by Wondering? on February 14, 2000 20:10:49 UTC |
Example. S =star. MP=Measuring point. LS =(Light)or(radio)-signal. S is some distance far away of earth. MP is measuring equipment at earth. LS is signal, what S send. (Light or radiosignal) S ............LS.............MP S send LS. MP see LS. 1. MP cannot say, what is distance between S-MP. 2. MP cannot say, what is size os S. 3. MP cannot say, what speed LS has. So, it means. When we look space, far-away. to long distance, and we see light-point(object). What we can known of this object. Other problem. If i draw a next picture at paper. I draw, sun, my eyes, mirror, my finger, my brains. I placed mirror so, that sun-light goes through it, to my eyes. Also sun light goes, through my finger, to my eyes. Light has many road to flow my eyes. How light can go that kind? I think, that our scientist dont know, so much, how light exist, and goes. Therefore these is so many space-distance error. An therefore, i think, spece-picture take some radical changes next years.
