I am planning on buying my first scope and am considering the Meade LX10 deluxe or the Celestar 8. Currently I am using binoculars FOR visual observation and am taking photos using a fixed tripod, barndoor, or the afocal method. I would like to eventually use the scope for observing, prime focus photography and ccd. Which scope would be better or should I consider some other scope.
