: I have a 8" Schmidt-Cassgrain and on more that one occasion I have had the diagonal and the eyepiece or whatever is attatched to it fall out onto the ground during a observing session, probably because of contraction due to the temp. drop. Has this happened to anyone else and what did you do to solve the problem, sometimes that is over $300.00 hitting the ground. I thought maybe eyepiece tubes like Tele-vue eyepieces have with a groove for the set screw but I can't find a source for them. Thanks
