My LX3 is early 80s I think so an LX5 should be a little later. Optically they are all about the same. The updates are usually just with the electronics. : I have run across several used 8 and 10 inch LX-5's for sale. I'm wondering what years it was sold, approximately what they cost new and how it compares to Meades current models LX50 and LX10. Also what current Meade model does the LX-5 closest compare to? And if there were any chronic problems anyone has ever heard of or experienced.
