The scope I have is the Achromatic type. A little color defraction, but I can live with it. Does awesome with planets. Shows heck of a lot more detail than my 8" Dobs. The EQ3 mount is Orions standard mount, they should have them. Unless they are using the Skyview Deluxe mount. The 90mm isn't bad, but it comes with no mount at all. It has provisions to attach to a camera tripod. It is a telescope/wildlife scope. 90mm with a short focal length vs. a 4.7" at f/9. If you can suffer the light color defraction, the 4.7" beats the 90 all to hell. I have taken some very good pics through that scope. Just a thought. Good Luck!!
