: We just bought a 60mm Mead telescope which came with a SR4mm eye piece. I am unable to find any information about the SR type and am having problems viewing with this? Does anyone know what the SR stands for? Well I am trying to find out the same thing. What I assume, is that the telescope came from the Sears catalog and is listed there, as a Polaris, and comes with the items you mention. I am trying to track down what kind of scope it actually is, and what I need to do to get better lenses for the future. About the only thing I have done with the Sr4mm is see the moon during the day. I have seen Jupitor and a few moons, and a fuzzy Saturn (albeit it was not a clear night). I am hoping to get lenses that allow better details to come through. |
