Depends where you live. The South Star is considered Polaris Australis in the constellation Octans. I hope you live really far south, because if you are in the USA..anywhere, you'll probably never see it. Nope...you are wanting to enter the realm of Off-Axis guiding. It's a pain, but necessary for those southern sights. Need to study up on it. Takes practice. Good Luck!! |
