I have used an equtorial mount on a 6 inch reflector (Meade) for 20 years. I rarely use over 174x on the the planets. What are my chances of enjoying - say a 12.5 inch Dobs. Will the Dobs mount drive me crazy? Am I too old to switch? Anyone done this?
