: We just bought a 60mm Mead telescope which came with a SR4mm eye piece. I am unable to find any information about the SR type and am having problems viewing with this? Does anyone know what the SR stands for?

It stands for Symmetrical; this eyepiece's best home is file 13.If the Meade didn't come with a 1 1/4" focuser you can get a hybrid diagonal from Orion for about $25. This will allow you to use 1 1/4" EP in .965" focuser.Best regards, Bill
