You might try calling the Griffith Park Observatory in Glendale, CA, there is a gentleman who speaks monthly at the Orange County Astronomy Club by the name of "Chris" and he just gave a thrilling talk about the belt and the center star most specifically. Looks like there is quite a bit happening -- it keeps getting brighter and if I understood him correctly there is another gigantic star moving in behind that star. It sounds so thrilling. Hope I've helped. lsc : : : : : : : : : : : : : : : : I am doing a school project on the Orion : : : : : belt : : : : : : and I am not having a lot of luck finding any : : : : : information : : : : : : about it. So, if anyone can help me, please let : : : : : me know. : : : : : : : : : : : : : : : : : : : : : : Thankyou!! : : : : : : : : : : HTTP://LUNCHTIME.VTC.VSC.EDU/NOTEBOOK/PHOTOGAL.HTM : : : : there is a lot of imformation about how the pyramids at giza are exactaly alligned with the constalation orion. search yahoo for 'pyramid' and look down the list until you find what you need! : : : It is likely that the constellation Orion is a propagation of an early system of astrology based on a hexagonal coordinate system;it is also likely that the projection of this system is the cause of malefic phenomenom aimed at those who are deemed inferior. However, this early system of coordinates represents a stoic and aristocratic form of government that disallows certain function necessary for dynamic growth.
