As far as finder scopes are concerned. Get the Telrad. It can't be beat. Once you have it, you'll never use a standard finder scope again. Take the old mounting off, and put the Telrad in place of it. The base uses a double back tape and the unit detaches from the base for transport. Alignment of the Telrad uses 3 collimating screws. Just line up a planet or something bright in the scope then set the telrad. It weighs roughly under a pound. They are usually sold for about $45. Have fun. |
