: I'm thinking about trying to build a home observatory in my back yard. I want to put up framed walls, say about 6 or 7 feet a side but the roof has me confused. I'm not sure how to do it, if anybody has an idea or an article somewhere to look at I would appreciate the info.

: Thx; good clear nights--Randy

: I'm in the process of building an observatory in my back yard. I've designed a circular building that conforms to the dome. If you decide to use a square building you need to have a round to square flashing fabricated. The total highth of my observatory is 15'4". The width is 10'. The bottom area will be for storage of yard tools. Maybe this will help you, good luck. - Barry
