The two scopes you have described are basically the same in performance. Actually, if they had no logo on them, you would think they were the same scope! Fork mounted scopes are ideal in some respects concerning let's say, CCD imaging of Astrophotography. Both scopes will do well for both. Auto-guiding for both perform the same. Some do come in diferent focal lengths. Do you want a faster focus (F6 to F4) or slower (F7 to F11). I am not very sure how reliable the auto-tracking devices are on either scope, but I have been to a few star-parties and have seen these scopes in action and they do indeed perform identical. Of course the cost may determine what you will get. My opinion is, you can't go wrong with either choice. Good Luck!!....and have fun!
