I have a meade 10" EQ starfinder and I must say that I love the scope. The EQ mount is OK for visual observations and is a lot more convenient than Dob mount because of the tracking. The optics are great but collimation is a must if your looking for the best possible performance. I must agree with the masses about the starfinders focuser. It's way to flimsy and I've since replaced it with a NGF-DX3 from JMI(jimsmobile.com. Hope this helps.
