: Where does gravity come from?

Good question. I don't think anyone has a diffinitive answer as to what causes gravity. All we know is that gravity is a property of matter and in nature has properties that are similar to electromagnetism. Simply put, an electromagnet warps space just as gravity does.

If we did know what exactly causes gravity we could perhaps control it as we can control electromagnetism. Wouldn't that be fricken cool.
