| Meade LXD-750 Mount...

I've never managed to find a review of just the 750 mount. Writers have mentioned it in passing while reviewing Meade's 6" & 7" refractors, but never with any thorough opinions. Any owners out there have any opinions on it? Has anyone tried mounting anything foreign on it? What sort of mating interface does it have? I've been tossing around the idea of planting a Meade 7" Mak OTA on one of these babies, a la the SST series that Meade offered a couple of years back, but it looks like I'd have to custom machine the rings... |
