At your price range the Plossl is your best bet. Orions` Sirius line of EP`s are pretty good. I use them myself. At a higher cost their Ultrascopic series is an excellent choice also. They`re not bad for a wide field EP. Apogee also carries Plossl EP`s for about $45-$60. Good Luck!

I highly recommend a shorty barlow. Orions` Shorty is very good for the price. Good Luck!!
