I am a Newbie scope user. I have a 6" LXD55 scope and took my first view of Mars yesterday with it. Used a 10mm Plossl eyepiece. The image was very bright and sharp which I liked but I want to see if it can be larger. Will an eyepiece with larger magnification make a noticeable difference or is it only marginal? What magnification should the eyepeice be?

thanks in advance
