My Meade dealer advised me to process with ether on a Qtip . I tried but the edge of the Qtip leaves traces, so I tried a piece of surgical cotton.
That proved to be a good method ! and the result is almost perfect!
The thing is that if there is too much ether, it leaves on the eyepiece a few "rainbowed" dried droplets.
Never mind ! I retried the process with much less ether and finished it with a completely dry piece of cotton and my breath .
The result is almost perfect !
