There are several excellent APO Barlows available at about half the cost of the Televue. The one I use ie the Meade Model 140. It's worth while to go to an APO type as they really do perform better than the standard achromatic types. Do not get a variable power Barlow under any circumstance as these almost always suffer from excessive internal reflections.
