Robert,

I bought that Proxima from Hands on Optics. In my opinion of use, I think it is a great piece. The contrast and FOV are exceptional. 71º EP in a 2" dagonal can't get much better than that. I bought a 2" diagnoal with 1.25 adapter also so I could use all my EP's on the 2" diagonal. The price was $149. I was sceptical. But bought it anyway. I'm glad I did. I can't tell the difference between it and 2" 82º 32mm Nagler. A friend of mine has the Nagler about $680 bucks. He has seen the Proxima and we compared. We couldn't tell any difference between the two when we swapped them out except for the difference from 71º to 82º. Images are sharp and clear all the way to stars on the edge. It is my primary piece I start with now. I never use my 40MM SP 4000 series anymore. The Proxima is the way to go. If I need magnification I drop in the adapter and run down to 9.7mm if needed.

Hope this helps. I'm happy. It comes with a case and the weight is about a pound. So with a new 2" diagonal and the Proxima, I had to rebalance my 8" SCT.
