I usually use Plossl EP`s from Celestron, but they changed vendors, so I don`t know if quality is any good or better. I have had problems with Meade eyepieces (Plossl) because my filters just wouldn`t screw in right. Orion`s Sirius series isn`t bad and their Ultrascopic are very good for the price. Nagler/TeleVue, Panoptic are the best for sure, however justifying the prices for tham are hard for me to swallow. Used equipment comes with a great deal of risk. Some people who sell EP`s don`t really know what they have.
Plossl`s are the minimum I would go. Erfles can be OK. Some warehouse sellers are OK. Astromart at www.astromart.com has a huge selections of places to buy. Good Luck!!
