I was a little suprised when the smaller (7mm) turned out to be a binocular eyepiece mounted in a 1.25" casing. But they have good eye relief and I don't feel like I'm looking into a pin-hole as I do with my Celestron 6mm Plossl.

I'm happiest with the 26mm (NOT a binocular eyepiece) which has nice sharp stars out to the edge of my modest refractors FOV.

It had a little too much eye relief (I got "Black out's" when my eye was not centered over the eyepiece. I added a rubber "eye guard" from Orion that helped me center my eye about 1" away from the EP, and now it works great. (Much better than the 26mm generic Plossl that I had been using.)

People gush over these at sites like www.excelsis.com that rate eye pieces. Either he has a BIG family posting posting reviews or they really are good!
