You may want to investigate the Antares Speers-Waler line of eyepieces; less expensive than the TeleVue line and very large FOV. Check out and for reviews. Another consideration for wide FOV are the University Optics Konigs. Also University Optics Orthos are great for planetary viewing but have rather tight eye relief.

All of the aforementioned are excellent and quite a bit less in price than the TeleVues.
