I realized after reading over and over again in the posted format (which is easier to read) that my definition of possible should be corrected as follows:

Possible: The current situation is such that some particular case might occur in the future [or might currently be (or have been) the case] even if we do not know it or know how that case can occur [or currently be (or have been) the case]. Likewise, the current situation is such that some particular case might not occur in the future [or might not currently be (or have been) the case]. What determines the particular case is based on unknown, or unpredictable, or undecidable factors to those faced with answering whether the case in question might occur [or currently be (or have been) the case].


I removed 'unknown case' and replaced it with 'particular case' for obvious reasons. Also, I used the word 'possible' at the end of my definition of possible, which is a circular definition.
