Hi Dick,

Good idea to come over hear. Maybe we can convince the webmaster to start a philosophy forum that has nothing to do with 'God and Science'.

In any case, considering your comments, I can agree with all 3 points.

I hate to needlessly cavil, but I just want to make sure we are on the same track. What I think you mean is that "my idea of what currently exists (or what did exist, or what will exist) is based on things I assume currently exist which allows me to make these assumptions of the past, present, and future." If so, then I agree. The needless cavils (at least I hope they are needless)are:

a) We cannot assume the past 'exists'.
b) We cannot assume the far flung future 'exists'.

I assume that (a) and (b) are well agreed upon.
