SETI@home is a scientific experiment that uses Internet-connected computers in the Search for Extraterrestrial Intelligence (SETI). You can participate by running a free program that downloads and analyzes radio telescope data. Arecibo Observatory, radio-astronomy facility (completed 1963) located at Arecibo, PUERTO RICO; it is operated by Cornell University under contract with the U.S. National Science Foundation. Its fixed antenna of spherical section, 1,000 ft (305 m) in diameter, is the largest radio-telescope antenna in the world. PLEASE VISIT THE SITE AND SEE THE IMAGES OF RADIO TELESCOPES AND MUCH MORE.
