and "meaning" differently than you.

Some of us will define "Understanding"
differently than you. You mention that when you
just concentrated on the math, then it was a breeze. This is true. But it does not prove
there is no meaning in it. It means you and perhaps all humans cannot do math and meaning
in the same phase of learning.
If proportionality of effect, which is one of math's final effects, has no meaning for you,
then "meaning" has no meaning for you.
Someone else, however, does understand something
you do not.
