Seeking A Telescope Cover System

I work at a college observatory, and it seems that we are always looking for a better system to house our scopes.
We have multiple telescopes that are mounted on the roof of our Science Center on our observing deck. We cover each scope seperately, due to the large size of our deck and the variety of our scopes. The system that we've had in place for years has proved too cumbersome for continued use - black industrial-fabric bags with large Garbage cans placed over them. We recently tried to convert to this material "Desert Storm" which is advertised as a telescope cover, but have found it to tear easily. Also, here in New England, the Desert Storm does not give enough protection from the moisture in the air - it seems to have been made with Western skies in mind.
We are looking for something less structural than domes, but stable enough to offer some real protection to our scopes. Also, most of our scopes are 12" LX200's with CCDs and counterweights attached, so we need a good size cover. If any of you have ideas for this or can point me in a direction, I would very much appreciate it!
Yours, Lori
