The Celestron NexStar 114 GT looks like a short tube scope. What's the focal length? The disk should get larger with smaller eyepieces. Are you sure your focusing correctly at low power? If it's say 400 focal length you only get 16x with a 25MM eyepiece. You will get 40X with a 10MM, it's not realy that much difference. The 4MM will give you 100x and that should be noticible over the 25MM at 16x. That scope is not really designed for real high power because of the short focal length. Check that out and get back to me. Make sure your focusing to a nice sharp edge on the disk. Note also the image will not be as sharp witht the smaller eyepieces.
