I have the same problem you do with the scope usually looking 15-20 degrees west of North; I guess any purchaser of the Celestron GPS scopes has a similar problem. If not false advertising, at the very least it is playing it very close to the line. Meade in its advertising for the new Meade LX2000 GPS seems to address the issue by saying that their scope includes magnetic declination compensation while their competitor does not; I assume they are addressing this issue. While it is not an insurmountable problem, it is troubling because the scope does not work the way it should and I feel tricked.
