Hello anybody. I'm a newbie to this site and I seek good advice for this question, but first a little background: I recently purchased a Nexstar8 (a few eyepieces and filters too), and it came with The Sky level 1, which is usable by my computer and scope, however I notice that only levels 2,3 and 4 are updatable through the web site. I also have Starry Night, Backyard, which is not usable by my scope...only Starry Night Pro is.

So, here are the questions: Does anyone have experience with either or both of these progarms and what's your advice about upgrade purchases? SNPro upgrade is $99, while The Sky levels 2,3 and 4 are $129, 199, and 249, respectively.

Thanx. Alan Baldwin
