Hi, I am brand new on the forum.

I have had my C8 for a few years and have not used it much.

I asked Mrs. Santa to get me a new computer driven Equatorial mount for it, as well as an Imaging Source DFK41AF02.AS.

Mrs. Santa said OK!!!!

I plan on building a Observatory or buying a SkyShed Pod.

Is getting started with the CCD a lot of trouble? I have been all over the net looking for tips, and all I have really found so far is, you gotta collimate.

There must be more to it than that!

Or, is all the info I need going to be in the S/W?
