Celestron 150 Mm Newtonian Help Needed

My wife's elderly aunt lost her only son a few months ago. He had (some time before) purchased a Celestron 150mm Newtonian with a 1000mm FL and a 6x30 LER Finder. The whole thing sits on an aluminum tripod with several dials and two fine tuning handles.

Apparently he never did get to use it as he had a heart attack and died, . . . I cut the tape on the box holding the main telescope portion.

To make a long story short, she wants to sell it as she has no interest in astronomy.

What would be a fair price for this item in your opinion.

Thank you very much, . . . and oh yeah, . . . I did look at the moon in it, . . . never had any idea it looked like that.
