Hello,

I had the same problems with mine. If you look at the plug in the fork-arm, you'll see that the pin is actually 2 pins close together. You'll need to seperate these pins. I used an exacto knife and it worked perfectly. Just place something thin between the pins and gently twist. The pins will come apart and the battery pack connector will stay in place and you should not have any problems. I hope it works out for you...
